Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring teacher to join our specialist education team, supporting students with additional learning needs, including autism and social, emotional and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging science lessons in a nurturing environment where smaller class sizes allow you to focus on individual progress and achievement.
As our Science Teacher, you will create a positive, engaging and supportive learning experience that helps students develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, you will adapt teaching to meet individual needs and help every student reach their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging Science lessons to individuals and small groups, tailored to students' needs.
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress, supporting positive outcomes.
- Develop and implement personalised learning, education and behaviour plans.
- Create a safe, structured and stimulating learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, families and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success.
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and safeguarding while maintaining accurate records and educational standards.
- Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) required.
- Experience planning and delivering lessons within an education setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Driving licence required
