Flourish Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Edgwick, Coventry that is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position from September 2026 until July 2027.

The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and encourage academic success.
Job RolePlan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Follow the National Curriculum and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
Maintain high standards of behaviour management and implement school policies consistently
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics within a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum at KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Experience planning and delivering lessons independently
Organised, reliable, and committed to supporting student progress
Full-time Science Teacher role from September 2026 until July 2027
Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 per day, equivalent to £34,068 to £46,937 per annum, based on working five days per week for a full school year (M1-M6), depending on experience

This secondary school is based in Edgwick, Coventry and is easily accessible by car and public transport from Foleshill, Bell Green, Coundon, Radford, Stoke, Binley, Bedworth, Nuneaton, and surrounding areas. Onsite parking is available for staff, and the school benefits from excellent transport links across Coventry.
