An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a successful and well-established secondary school in East London from September 2026.
The Role
We are looking for a committed and dynamic teacher to deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on specialism and experience. You will play a key role in inspiring students to develop a passion for Science and achieve strong academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the Science curriculum
- Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4 (specialism at KS5 desirable)
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
- Contribute to curriculum planning and continuous improvement within the department
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support and challenge students to reach their full potential
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the Science disciplines
- Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A team player with a proactive and professional attitude
