A number of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking a dedicated and confident Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role: As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering well planned and engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will inspire curiosity in science while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment that supports progress and achievement.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet student needs and abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Create a positive and structured learning environment
- Support students in developing subject knowledge and confidence
- Work collaboratively with department staff where required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge across Science disciplines
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confident, adaptable and professional approach
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
