Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026

GSL Education are recruiting a resilient and dedicated Science SEMH Teacher to support KS3 pupils within a specialist setting in Hull.

This specialist provision supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, offering a structured and nurturing learning environment. Staff focus on relationship building, behaviour support and personalised learning approaches.

Responsibilities

Teach Science to KS3 pupils with SEMH needs
Plan differentiated and engaging lessons
Support emotional regulation and classroom engagement
Implement behaviour support strategies
Work collaboratively with support staff and pastoral teams

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with SEMH pupils preferred
Resilient and adaptable teaching approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
