What Does a Governor Do?
As part of our Governing Board, you will work alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leader Team to ensure the long-term success of the school by:
- Setting our vision, mission and values
- Helping shape and approve school policies and strategy
- Supporting leadership while holding it to account
- Managing and monitoring the school budget and resources
- Ensuring pupils are prepared for the next stage in education and life
- Reviewing staffing structures to support our goals

You don't need to be an education expert-just someone with commitment, curiosity, and the ability to work as part of a team. We value different viewpoints, idees and approaches that individuals form varied backgrounds, experiences and identities bring from all walks of life.
