About The Role 
Days and hours: Monday - Friday 17:30-20:30 (Maternity cover until September 2026)
Hourly Rate: £12.71
Location: Hitchin, SG4 0JP

- Be inducted at the start of your contract and receive training within your first week of work. You'll learn how to deliver the cleaning specification and use the equipment.
- Provide a high standard of customer care across different shift hours.
- Handle site-based equipment and cleaning materials (full training provided).
- Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
- Empty all litter bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
- Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Work within a team that goes the extra mile.
- An attitude to thrive and cleaning experience (though we can fully train you from scratch if you match our positive and thoughtful approach). A passion for it would be amazing.
- Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
- A basic level of spoken English for communication on safety and interacting with members of the public and the client's management team.
- Good social skills to deliver service with a smile.
- A right to work in the UK (please bring evidence to the interview). This applies to both UK and non UK nationals.
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
- Two satisfactory references are required as part of the recruitment process.
