School Cleaner

Role Details

Days and hours: Monday - Friday 15:30 - 18:00 (43 weeks per year). Hourly rate: £12.71. Location: Thetford, IP24 2JT. Pay is spread evenly across the year.

Responsibilities

• Dedicate your time on site to go the extra mile and meet the needs of Atlas' clients.
• Be inducted at the start of your contract and trained within the first week to deliver the cleaning specification and use the equipment.
• Provide a high standard of customer care across shift hours.
• Handle site based equipment and cleaning materials (training provided).
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper and bin liners.
• Empty litter bins into the appropriate waste and recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Work within a team that consistently goes the extra mile.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to thrive (cleaning experience is a plus but not required).
• Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role.
• Basic spoken English for clear communication.
• Good social skills and a friendly approach to service delivery.
• Right to work in the UK (evidence required).
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Two satisfactory references required.
