School Caretaker Vacancy - Start After Easter Half Term

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team starting after the Easter half term. This is a key role in helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening the school site each day
• Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, and secure
• Monitoring health and safety across the site
• Supporting with room setups for school events and activities
• Liaising with contractors when required
• General site duties as directed by the school leadership team

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Be practical and able to carry out basic DIY and maintenance tasks
• Be dependable, organised, and proactive
• Have good communication skills
• Take pride in maintaining a safe and tidy environment
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
