Start Date: September 2026. Location: Wirral area. Contract: Full time, Term Time Only (with some flexibility during school holidays). Duration: Initially for the academic year, with potential extension.
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to work on behalf of a secondary school in the Wirral area. The role is full time, term time only (with occasional holiday work) and is ideal for someone with a strong sense of responsibility, good maintenance skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
Key Requirements- Previous experience in a caretaker, site supervisor, or facilities/maintenance role.
- Good knowledge of basic maintenance, health & safety, and security procedures.
- A practical, hands on approach and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to manage a range of tasks from minor repairs to setting up school events.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Basic IT skills for logging maintenance requests or completing compliance checks.
- A supportive and friendly school environment where your work is valued.
