About usAspire provides 'outstanding' alternative educational provision and support for secondary age students. Students attend full or part-time and are referred to us by schools and the Local Authority. Our focus is to support young people, together with their families and schools, to reach beyond their potential and enable them to flourish by developing positive behaviours, attitudes and aspirations.
The Wycombe Grange is our Alternative Provision school in High Wycombe, catering for permanently excluded students and students at risk of exclusion in the South of Buckinghamshire.
Students come to us for a short period of time while we work with them, their families and their mainstream school, to identify strategies that will help them manage their emotions and be successful at school. Sometimes our assessments indicate that mainstream is not the right place for a student, and in this case, we will work with them, their families and the local authority to help them move into a specialist setting.
The site administrator is the first person to greet all visitors to our provision. We are looking for someone who can give a warm and professional welcome to students, parents, staff and visitors. We want to find someone who will put all visitors at ease and meet the needs of visitors with a variety of reasons for coming to our provision.
The site administrator is the 'gatekeeper' to our classrooms and ensures that all visitors have the relevant safeguarding documentation in place, where relevant, to ensure that we keep our students safe.
We are looking for someone who can juggle multiple tasks, who can prioritise effectively and who is excited to work in an environment where every day is different. We are looking for a team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to support the team.
You should have significant experience of administration tasks, excellent knowledge of IT software packages, and a willingness to learn new skills.
