Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Administrative Officer to join a welcoming primary school located in the B9 area of Birmingham. This is a fixed-term position running until the end of October 2026, with the potential for extension depending on staffing needs. The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy school environment and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • General school administration and front office support
  • Managing pupil data and school records accurately
  • Handling attendance processes and communications with parents/carers
  • Supporting finance related tasks, including payments and reporting
  • Acting as a first point of contact for visitors, staff, and families
Essential Experience
  • Previous experience working in a school administration role (primary setting preferred)
  • Confident and competent use of ParentPay
  • Strong working knowledge of Bromcom
  • Excellent IT and data management skills
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in a busy school office environment
Contract Details
  • Location: Birmingham B9
  • Long term agency role
  • Hours: Full time (to be confirmed)
  • Start date: ASAP
