Scheme Manager

Part Time 20 Hours Per Week 5 Days 12-Month Fixed Term Contract £14per hour

We're looking for an organised and proactive Scheme Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a building complex in Stafford. The building is a over 55s retirement scheme.

This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a real difference to people's lives.

The Role:

As Scheme Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of the scheme, supporting residents with their wellbeing, safety and housing needs while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.

You'll act as a key point of contact for residents, contractors, support services, and families, helping customers maintain independence and access the support they need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing tenancy-related matters and scheme administration
  • Reporting and coordinating maintenance and repairs
  • Ensuring health & safety, fire safety and security procedures are followed
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies and alarm calls
  • Encouraging community engagement and social activities within the scheme
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Supervising cleaners/contractors where applicable
About You:

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication and people skills
  • Is empathetic, calm and professional, particularly in challenging situations
  • Can work independently and manage a varied workload
  • Has strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and resident wellbeing
  • Is confident liaising with contractors, support agencies, and stakeholders
  • Has experience within housing, property management, or facilities management (desirable)
