Scheme Cleaner - Alton

Overview

Service Care Construction is recruiting for a Scheme Cleaner - Alton on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent after the initial period. The role involves maintaining communal areas within residential blocks. Location: Alton, Hampshire, covering Horndean and surrounding towns. Hours: 25 hours per week.

Pay Rate: PAYE (Inc Holiday) £13.45 per hour; Ltd via Umbrella £17.26 per hour (weekly pay).

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas within blocks of flats, including sweeping, vacuuming, washing floors, walls, ceilings, doors, and fixtures
• Remove small dumped items and bin bags to designated collection areas
• Report large items for bulk removal
• Litter picking and carpet cleaning in residential communal spaces
• Drive between locations in Alton, Horndean, and Liss; a Full UK Driving Licence is essential
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role
• Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
