Are you a natural leader with a passion for craftsmanship, creativity and getting the very best out of people? We're looking for a Scenic Workshop Manager to guide and inspire our Moulding & Casting, Scenic and Finishing teams here at Wild Creations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and imaginative company where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in shaping how our workshop operates - making sure our teams feel supported, our projects run smoothly and our work continues to wow our clients.

About Us:

Wild Creations is a leading provider of innovative design, manufacturing and installation solutions for props and scenery within the theme park, entertainment and marketing industries. With a passion for creativity and craftsmanship, we specialise in bringing our clients' visions to life through our exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.

As our Scenic Workshop Manager, you'll:

  • Lead and support our talented Supervisors and makers across Moulding & Casting, Scenic and Finishing.
  • Champion our company values and help create a culture where creativity and commercial discipline work hand in hand.
  • Drive collaboration, problem-solving and continuous improvement throughout the workshop.
  • Introduce and embed Lean principles to ensure we're making the best use of our time, materials and skills.
  • Work closely with Supervisors and Coordinators to plan workloads, schedule projects and keep everything running efficiently.
  • Spot potential bottlenecks early and find smart, budget-aware solutions.
  • Ensure every project is delivered to the correct level of finish as specified in the brief - no more, no less - protecting project budgets and helping embed a culture of working to scope.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each project's intent, requirements and constraints, ensuring the team delivers exactly what the client has paid for while maintaining excellent craftsmanship.
  • Support strategic planning across the workshop, driving a mindset focused on hitting internal targets, deadlines and commercial goals.
  • Keep our workshop safe by promoting excellent Health & Safety practices and partnering with our Facilities Manager on machinery upkeep.
  • Support, mentor and develop Supervisors so they can help their teams thrive and perform at their best.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication to keep projects and people aligned.
  • Help teams take pride in their work, while maintaining strong standards around quality, efficiency and wellbeing.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced people leader within a scenic workshop or production environment.
  • Balances creativity with solid operational and commercial understanding.
  • Can interpret briefs with precision, translating creative intent into clear, budget-conscious deliverables.
  • Understands varying levels of scenic finish and knows how to deliver the right level for each project.
  • Loves developing others and building strong, motivated teams.
  • Is confident in planning workloads, managing resources and identifying improvements.
  • Thinks strategically, stays organised and is motivated by hitting targets and deadlines.
  • Brings a positive, solutions-focused attitude to challenges.
  • Takes Health & Safety seriously and leads by example.
  • Communicates clearly, calmly and consistently.

Why Join Us?

At Wild Creations, you'll be part of a friendly, passionate and collaborative team that brings ambitious ideas to life. You'll have the chance to shape how our workshop operates, influence our culture and see your leadership directly impact the quality of the incredible builds we create.

We offer the following benefits:

  • A day off on your Birthday in addition to the usual 28 days holiday (including BH).
