SAP TM & BN4L Lead Consultant - 11 Months - Outside IR35

bluewaveSELECT have been retained by a global fashion retailer to engage the right Senior SAP TM & BN4L Lead Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with selected service integration partner, or external stakeholders to secure a successful SAP BN4L roll-out implementation
• Participate in design workshops for global SAP TM/BN4L template
• Work with integration teams to ensure robust end-to-end flows between SAP TM, SAP ECC/S/4 HANA, CPI and BN4L
• Act as SAP BN4L design authority within the SAP TM/BN4L product team, ensuring adherence to global standards and integration principles
• Develop and configure SAP BN4L local templates as part of global roll-out
• Carrier and Partner enabling - configuration/integration into BN4L
• Secure BN4L carrier and partner configuration/integration part of the global SAP TM/BN4L roll-out
• Responsible for BN4L unit and system testing execution; contribute to E2E and UAT testing under the overall SAP TM test strategy
• Secure hand-over of rolled out BN4L implementations from project to product line organization
• Operational support & continuous improvement
• Support change and release management activities for SAP BN4L within the product life cycle

Technical Skills

• Deep knowledge of SAP BN4L capabilities including Freight Collaboration, GTT, Material Traceability, and Intelligent Insights
• Previous experience from SAP TM implementation/rollout
• Strong understanding of SAP logistics modules (TM, ERP, S/4HANA) and end-to-end freight processes.
• Experience with BN4L integration technologies (APIs, web services, connectivity flows)
• Familiarity with integration technologies (SAP CPI/PO, APIs, IDocs, EDI)
• Familiarity with carrier process automation and BN4L ID-based communication flows.

Key competencies

• Good understanding of transportation processes (freight tendering, subcontracting, execution, shipment tracking, order fulfillment, dock scheduling, carrier collaboration)
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based logistics platforms and multi-enterprise collaboration.
• Strong stakeholder management, able to coordinate between carriers, internal tech teams and other external stakeholders and providers in a large global contect
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage complex logistics ecosystems.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear business guidance.
