Responsibilities Position Overview

We are seeking an SAP SuccessFactors Talent Consultant to join our UK team and play a vital role in delivering impactful Talent solutions for our clients. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong functional expertise with client advisory, hands on configuration, and solution design. You will work on Talent implementations and enhancements, focusing on modules such as Performance & Goals, Succession, and Career Development Planning, while also gaining exposure to broader discussions around skills transformation, AI in HR, learning innovation, and workforce agility. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or support end to end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Talent solutions, including discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, go live, and hyper care
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Talent Management processes, best practice, and solution optimisation
  • Run client workshops to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable, effective system solutions
  • Configure SAP SuccessFactors Talent modules, primarily Performance & Goals, Succession, and Career Development Planning, in line with agreed designs and client priorities
  • Support system testing, defect triage, issue resolution, and post go live support activities
  • Support data migration activities including mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation
  • Work with technical and integration teams to support connectivity with Employee Central, Learning, and third party systems
  • Deliver training, knowledge transfer, and adoption support to help clients realise value from their solution
  • Produce high quality documentation including configuration workbooks, design documents, test scripts, and user guidance
  • Contribute to enhancement work, release activity, and managed support services where required
  • Stay current with SAP SuccessFactors releases, Talent trends, and emerging capabilities across skills and AI in HR
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and wider delivery teams to deliver high quality outcomes on time and within budget
Requirements What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in SAP SuccessFactors Talent implementations, ideally within a consulting or advisory environment
  • Strong hands on expertise in one or more of the following: Performance & Goals, Succession, Career Development Planning
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and design through to testing, deployment, and hyper care
  • Confidence in leading client workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into effective system solutions
  • Strong understanding of Talent Management processes and best practice
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced consulting environment
  • SAP SuccessFactors certification in a relevant Talent module is strongly preferred
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible to undergo BPSS or other client required screening where applicable. UK government guidance describes BPSS as baseline screening covering identity, right to work, employment history, and criminal record checks.
  • Interest in learning emerging areas such as AI in HR, skills, workforce agility, and future of work solutions
Nice to Have
  • Experience with additional SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Learning, Onboarding 2.0, Recruiting, Compensation, or Talent Intelligence Hub
  • Exposure to skills based transformation initiatives, job architecture, or skills framework design
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors AI capabilities, Talent Intelligence Hub, or skills driven development experiences
  • Experience supporting integrations between SuccessFactors and third party systems
  • Knowledge of data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
  • Experience in post go live support, release management, or enhancement work
  • Ability to contribute to client training, adoption, and change support activities
  • Broader understanding of HR transformation, learning strategy, or workforce planning
