The SAP STS (Source-to-Settle) Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end procurement and accounts payable processes within an SAP environment. This role requires strong expertise in SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, and integration with financial systems. The SAP STS Lead will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to drive process improvements, implement new functionalities, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Implementation:
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP STS processes, including procurement, invoicing, and supplier management. Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, and other enterprise systems. Support system configurations, enhancements, and testing for STS functionalities.
Project Management & Delivery:
Manage STS-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, IT, Compliance) to define requirements and develop solutions. Oversee system upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for STS-related queries and issue resolution. Work closely with business users to understand pain points and recommend process improvements. Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on best practices.
Incident & Change Management:
Monitor and resolve system incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Manage change requests and enhancements, ensuring compliance with governance policies. Work with SAP support teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Compliance & Process Optimization:
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, SOX compliance, and audit requirements. Optimize Source-to-Settle processes to improve efficiency, cost savings, and data accuracy. Drive automation initiatives and implement process improvements in procurement and invoicing.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP STS, SAP Ariba, or SAP MM/FI modules, VIM.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, Ariba Procurement, and Invoicing.
- Good knowledge of Direct an indirect procurement and its process with SAP landscape
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP STS processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoicing, and payment.
- Experience with SAP Ariba modules (Buying, Invoicing, Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle Management).
- Understanding of SAP integration (IDOCs, BAPIs, web services) with external systems.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot STS process failures and SAP system errors.

Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Ariba or SAP MM certification.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, Workflow, and Reporting tools.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations (SOX), related to procurement and invoicing.
- Experience in large-scale pharmaceutical SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
