SAP Solution Architect & Senior Functional Consultant

(Pharmaceutical & Global Manufacturing Environments)

Role Overview

A senior SAP APO/OMP Solution Architect and Functional Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, integrating, and delivering enterprise-wide supply chain planning solutions. The role focuses on end-to-end solution design, integration architecture, and functional leadership, particularly within pharmaceutical and regulated manufacturing environments.

This role acts as a design authority and stream lead, bridging business requirements with advanced planning solutions and ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing planning landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Solution Architect for SAP APO and OMP planning solutions across global programs.
  • Lead blueprint, gap-fit, and solution design phases.
  • Design and govern SAP - OMP integration architecture.
  • Serve as functional design authority during build, test, UAT, and go-live phases.
  • Write functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for enhancements and change requests.
  • Coordinate and mentor cross-functional teams of consultants and developers.
  • Establish testing strategies.

Required Experience & Expertise

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP supply chain planning roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with: SAP APO and OMP
  • Proven experience as Solution Architect
  • Deep understanding of: Planning master data and transactional data
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience delivering multiple full life cycle implementations (onshore and offshore).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, including user story-driven delivery.
