Job Description
SAP Solution Architects (x4) - S/4HANA Transformation Programme Company Overview

Our client is a global organisation embarking on a major digital transformation programme underpinned by SAP S/4HANA. The initiative aims to harmonise core business processes, enhance data integrity, and deliver a scalable enterprise platform for future growth.

To support this transformation, the programme requires four experienced SAP Solution Architects to join the team and provide expert design leadership across key functional areas.

Role Overview

Each architect will be aligned to a specific SAP module - EWM, QM, PM, or PP - working closely with business process leads and technical delivery teams.
These roles are pivotal in ensuring that business requirements are translated into robust, integrated, and value-driven SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional design and solution architecture within assigned SAP modules (EWM, QM, PM, or PP).
  • Translate complex business requirements into SAP S/4HANA-aligned solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration across systems such as MES and Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with business process leads, architects, and delivery partners to maintain design consistency.
  • Deliver high quality functional and integration documentation supporting build and test phases.
  • Uphold programme architecture standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on SAP best practices and solution options.
  • Support clear and complete handover to technical build teams.
Role Focus Areas SAP EWM Solution Architect - ID 100
  • Deep expertise in SAP EWM (7.0 to latest S/4 release).
  • Strong background in RF integration, MFS, TRM, and Handling Unit Management.
SAP QM Solution Architect - ID 105
  • Proven track record in SAP QM module design and delivery.
  • Integration with PP, MM, and PM.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g. Pharma, Manufacturing).
SAP PM Solution Architect - ID 154
  • Niche expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, work orders, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement capability.
SAP PP Solution Architect - ID 155
  • Extensive experience in SAP PP, PPPI, and REM.
  • Integration expertise with MES, EWM, and QM.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and template rollouts.
Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in S/4HANA.
  • Strong configuration and solution design skills within relevant modules.
  • Proven experience delivering within large scale SAP transformation programmes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in complex or matrixed organisations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate and structured delivery frameworks.
  • Understanding of integrations with MES, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Collaborative: Works effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Delivery Focused: Commits to outcomes and programme timelines.
  • Detail Oriented: Ensures design accuracy and documentation quality.
  • Adaptable: Operates confidently in fast paced, evolving environments.
