SAP Solution Architect

SAP Solution Architect:

eurpeople's customer, a global leading organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join their on going assignment in Brussels/Belgium.

Candidates are required to have the following:

• More than 4 years of hands on SAP experience
• More than 8 years of IT experience
• Educated to degree level

Role:

Improvement of the long-term value and maintainability of technical solutions through engineering of an optimal architecture, taking into account both functional and technical aspects.

Scope:

Solution architecture is in principle related to the overall system landscape and the functional, logical and technical structures across systems and domains. It does not include single architectural aspects of solution design, which should be an integral part of consulting and development. Solution architecture shall ensure the stability, maintainability and efficiency of existing technical solutions, and shall make sure that they can globally evolve with new needs. It shall therefore take into account functional and technical constraints. opportunities and threats.

Job Specification:

• Analyse the global functional, logical and technical structures of existing technical solutions, identifying components and their interdependencies:
• Identify and analyse existing and potential needs for evolution as well as opportunities:
• Propose changes in the overall structures of the technical solutions, such as for example the introduction of new products or the use of new technologies;
• Evaluate potential benefits and risks of existing or proposed architectures:
  Document the analysis, findings and recommendations appropriately for intended target audiences.
• Conduct interviews, presentations and interactive workshops with stakeholders:
• Communicate about architecture with different kind of audiences, including upper management, functional and technical experts
• Share expert knowledge with the internal team
• Evaluate and compare efforts and costs related to the setup and operation of existing or proposed architectures
• Manage delivery of complex solutions based on cloud technology.
• All services shall be performed in perfect compliance with the programme quality plan

Due to the nature of the project, onsite presence is required at the customer site, up to 3-5 days per week.

Project language requires FLUENT ENGLISH speakers. Candidates who also speak French will be at an advantage.

The customer WILL NOT consider candidate(s) who DO NOT possess a relevant passport that allows them to immediately travel to the project location. Candidates who require visas, work permits or sponsorship need not apply.
