We have partnered with a company who are seeking an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of global BAU support operations for SAP, with a particular focus on S/4HANA. With 18 months left in a significant S/4HANA transformation journey, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of SAP service delivery and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day support operations for SAP technologies across a global environment, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and compliance with SLAs.
Oversee Incident, Problem, and Change management processes, acting as the escalation point for support-related issues.
Manage vendor relationships for SAP support and Application Management Services (AMS).
Drive continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and service optimisation.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, security standards, and licensing regulations.
Lead SAP change and release management processes.
Provide strategic direction for BAU SAP projects.
Line manage a multi-functional SAP support team, including functional consultants, BI development, and governance.
About You
Proven track record in leading application functions through significant growth and transformation.
Strong expertise in SAP technologies, particularly S/4HANA.
Experience managing remote and outsourced teams.
Strong communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of SOx-compliant environments.
Budget management experience.
