Job Description

We have partnered with a company who are seeking an experienced SAP Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of global BAU support operations for SAP, with a particular focus on S/4HANA. With 18 months left in a significant S/4HANA transformation journey, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of SAP service delivery and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day support operations for SAP technologies across a global environment, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and compliance with SLAs.

  • Oversee Incident, Problem, and Change management processes, acting as the escalation point for support-related issues.

  • Manage vendor relationships for SAP support and Application Management Services (AMS).

  • Drive continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and service optimisation.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, security standards, and licensing regulations.

  • Lead SAP change and release management processes.

  • Provide strategic direction for BAU SAP projects.

  • Line manage a multi-functional SAP support team, including functional consultants, BI development, and governance.

About You

  • Proven track record in leading application functions through significant growth and transformation.

  • Strong expertise in SAP technologies, particularly S/4HANA.

  • Experience managing remote and outsourced teams.

  • Strong communication skills, able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of SOx-compliant environments.

  • Budget management experience.
