SAP SD trade consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with a strong focus on International Trade topics to join our talented product team. This is a contract position, initially running until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension. The role is primarily remote, with sporadic on-site workshops or travel to Germany.

You will work within an agile, SAFe- based environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and the GTS team to deliver and optimize international trade processes in SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver trade-related topics on the S/4HANA side.
• Act as an interface between S/4 Trade and SAP GTS systems.

Develop and maintain trade-related forms, including:

• Order Confirmation
• Packing List & Invoice (incl. Customs)
• Support processes for E-Origin and Certificate of Entry.
• Collaborate closely within an agile product team using SAFe methodology.
• Coordinate, document, and test deliverables using JIRA and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
• Provide expertise on SD & International Trade processes while driving efficient, compliant solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an SAP SD Consultant with a focus on International Trade.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and related processes.
• Experience with SAP GTS (bonus).
• Hands-on experience with trade-related forms and documentation.
• Familiarity with E-Origin and Certificate of Entry processes.
• Experience working in agile environments (SAFe preferred).
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, SAP SolMan, and Google Workspace (Google Calendar, etc.).
• Proactive, fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
• Must have worked on S/4 Hana greenfield projects for international organisations

Nice to Have

• ABAP knowledge (for debugging or functional specs).
• Prior experience with international trade compliance processes.

The role is initially till the end of the year with a likely extension for the whole of 2026.
