SAP SD Taxation Consultant - Sovos - 12 Month Contract - Remote

Nicholas Bernard is looking for an experienced SAP SD Taxation Consultant to join an international SAP project on a 12-month contract.

The successful consultant will have strong SAP SD configuration experience, particularly in tax determination, alongside hands-on experience integrating SAP with Sovos.

The role requires a strong understanding of complex European VAT scenarios, cross-border transactions and multi-country tax requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on SAP SD configuration experience, particularly pricing, billing and tax determination.

• Proven experience integrating SAP with Sovos for tax determination.

• Strong working knowledge of EU VAT regulations, including intra-Community supplies and acquisitions.

• Experience with EU VAT triangulation and chain transaction scenarios.

• Experience configuring SAP for multi-country VAT registrations.

• Strong understanding of third-party sales, drop-shipping and intercompany transactions.

• Experience supporting international SAP implementations or rollouts.

• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, tax specialists and technical teams.

• SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.

• Previous experience within the chemical industry would be advantageous.

• Fluent English communication skills.
