S/4HANA Finance Consultant

Hybrid / 3 days per week onsite

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Finance Consultant to support the delivery and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA Finance within a public sector environment. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, programme teams, and systems integrators to ensure compliant, efficient, and robust finance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support configuration of S/4HANA Finance modules (e.g. GL, AP, AR, AA).
  • Translate public sector finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities.
  • Advise on best practice, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide functional expertise during implementation and post-go-live support.
  • Work collaboratively with business, technical, and change teams.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
  • Experience working on SAP implementations or transformations.
  • Previous public sector experience (desirable).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of public sector financial governance and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
