SAP S/4 Cutover Lead (Carve-Out Programme)

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 Cutover Lead to plan, coordinate, and deliver end-to-end cutover activities for a large, complex S/4HANA carve-out programme covering multiple deployment waves.

This role is critical to ensuring business and technical readiness for go-live, with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment, risk management, rehearsals, and successful production deployment across multiple regions.

• Start: ASAP
• Long term contract: 10 months + extension
• Location: Spain (Fully remote)
• Rates: Negotiable (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of technical and business cutover activities across local and regional teams
• Define and manage the end-to-end cutover strategy, including mock cutovers, rehearsals, and final production cutover
• Identify, track, and mitigate business and technical cutover risks and dependencies
• Engage with senior business and programme stakeholders to align on deployment decisions and timelines
• Coordinate cutover sign-off and readiness approvals across all impacted functions
• Ensure consistent cutover readiness across regions without direct line management responsibility

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years' experience delivering SAP programmes
• Strong hands-on experience leading both technical and business cutovers
• Proven background working on SAP S/4HANA carve-out initiatives
• 5+ years' experience acting as Cutover Lead on large SAP transformations
• Advanced Excel skills (essential)
• Experience with cutover automation tools (desirable)
