SAP Integration Suite Developer/Engineer

SAP Integration Suite Engineer - 3months + - 100% Remote CET time zone - Start ASAP

For our international client we are looking for an experienced SAP Integration Suite Engineer.
Your main task is to support the project team in Software Engineering across the SAP Integration Suite and to design, build and deploy integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI).

You will be required to assist in delivering new integration builds and support the migration of existing PI/PO landscapes to SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI).

This is a hands-on delivery role within an Agile delivery team, with exposure to modern event-driven and microservices architecture (Kafka, Quarkus) considered a strong advantage.

Tasks:
* Act as Software Engineer for SAP Integration suite

* Design, build and deploy integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

* Lead or contribute to PI/PO to CPI migration - assessing existing interfaces, re-platforming iFlows, and validating parity post-migration

* Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate integration requirements into scalable, reusable designs

* Support hybrid landscape integration scenarios (cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premise)

* Where applicable, integrate with event-streaming (Kafka) and microservices (Quarkus) components as part of broader data/integration architecture

* Technical documentation

* Ensure architectural best practice and compliance

Requirements:

* Experience as a System Engineer, Designer
* More than 4 years of experience with SAP Integration Suite/Cloud Integration (CPI)
* Project experience in building, deploying and supporting iFlows
* Good SAP ECC/ERP/ (ABAP stack) knowledge of integration layer
* SAP IS-APIM experience both for providers and proxies configuration with API Keys, OAuth2.0, SSL
* PI/PO to CPI migration projects experience - must have
* Strong understanding of integration patterns: REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, EDI, B2B
* Experience with adapters (HTTP, SFTP, ProcessDirect, JDBC, Mail, etc.) and standard/custom mapping (Groovy Scripting, XSLT)
* Working knowledge of security artifacts (OAuth, certificates, credential management)
* Project experience with agile delivery model (Scrum/SAFe)
* Nice to have: Experience with Kafka, Quarkus
* Nice to have: Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerised deployment of integration components
* Experience in international projects
* Fluency in English
