Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ICSM Senior Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP's Intelligent Clinical Supply Management solution. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in clinical supply processes, strong knowledge of SAP's life sciences landscape, and experience guiding cross-functional stakeholders through digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

SAP ICSM Solution Design

• Lead functional design and configuration of SAP ICSM across clinical supply planning, forecasting, inventory, packaging, labeling, and distribution.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP functionalities.
• Develop functional documentation including process flows, configuration specifications, test scripts, and validation materials.

Implementation & Integration

• Drive end-to-end implementation cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Ensure seamless integration between ICSM and related systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ATTP, SAP IBP, EWM, and external clinical systems (eg, IRT/RTSM).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment of functional and integration requirements.

Clinical Supply Expertise

• Provide subject-matter guidance on clinical supply chain processes including demand planning, trial forecasting, drug accountability, depot management, and returns.
• Recommend best practices to optimize trial supply efficiency and minimize overage and stockouts.
• Support compliance with global regulatory guidelines and validated system requirements.

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as a senior functional leader within ICSM projects, mentoring junior consultants and supporting project managers.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, training sessions, and stakeholder presentations.
• Manage issues, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Continuous Improvement & Support

• Identify opportunities to improve clinical supply operations through ICSM's intelligent automation and analytics capabilities.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with SAP where required.
• Stay informed on SAP innovations, releases, and emerging industry trends.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP functional experience with strong exposure to clinical supply or life sciences modules.
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting SAP ICSM.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end clinical supply chain processes.
• Proven ability to work directly with business teams and lead design workshops.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ATTP, SAP IBP, or EWM.
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO environments.
• Familiarity with validated systems (CSV) and GxP compliance.
• SAP certifications in supply chain or life sciences modules.
