Akkodis is partnering with a global client and they are looking for an SAP HR Payroll Consultant based in Italy. See below:

Job Title: SAP HR Payroll Consultant

Location: 80% Remote (Italy-based)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: February 2026

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP HR Payroll Consultant to join our team for a long-term project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP HR and Payroll modules, with a focus on Italian payroll processes and compliance. This role offers significant remote flexibility, with occasional on-site presence as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain SAP HR Payroll systems, ensuring compliance with Italian payroll regulations.
• Support payroll operations, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll processes and reporting.
• Perform system upgrades, testing, and documentation.
• Provide end-user training and support for payroll functionalities.
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HR Payroll implementation and support.
• Strong knowledge of Italian payroll legislation and processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HCM modules (PA, PY, Time Management).
• Ability to analyze, design, and configure payroll solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: February 2026
• Duration: 12 months
• Location: 80% remote, occasional on-site in Italy
• Engagement Type: Freelance/Contract
