SAP Functional Specialist (Treasury) - 3 months - Outside IR35

bluewaveSELECT have been retained by a global fashion retailer to engage the right SAP Functional Specialist (Treasury)

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• You will enable business development by leveraging your system and business expertise to propose and design high-level improvements for future solutions. You will also participate in and provide guidance on rollout and project design to ensure alignment with the global template.
• Analysing business requirements and identifying effective SAP FICO basedsolutions
• Configuring the system and/or writing technical specifications for new functionality
• Testing, supporting, and maintaining the Record to Report solution
• Mentoring Team Members, coordinating with cross functional and technical teams

Additional relevant expertise:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with strong expertise in design, concepts, principles, and configuration specifically within SAP FICO, including Payments, Banking, BCM, Electronic Bank Statements, Cash Management and Treasury in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
• Experience in SAP Treasury solution which includes MM, FX, Yield Curves, Cash Pool & Sweeps are good to have.
• Experience or hands-on knowledge in FICA-Payments is good to have.
• Participation in 3+ implementation projects
• Experience with long-term support and optimization of SAP Finance solutions, including resolving issues, adapting to changing business needs, and implementing incremental improvements
• Strong ability to communicate complex finance, accounting, and SAP topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the global fashion retailer
• Good understanding of financial processes in large organizations
• Experience with SAP transport and change management tools, such as STMS, Solution Manager, and ActiveControl
• Experience in developing WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) from a functional point of view

Additional beneficial competences:

• Experience from Retail industry - especially SAP FI-CA
• Experience from Swift integrations
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe or similar frameworks)

Language Skills: Fluent in English.
