SAP Financial Consultant

A leading consultancy is expanding its Finance Transformation practice to meet the rising demand for SAP S/4HANA-enabled change across enterprise organisations. As part of this growth, the firm is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager-level SAP Finance Consultant to help lead strategic finance transformation programmes and support clients through complex SAP S/4HANA implementations.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team recognised for delivering enterprise-wide SAP and finance transformation projects across diverse sectors - from financial services and media to telecoms, energy, and the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the functional delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance projects, ensuring solutions align with client goals and industry best practice.

Manage a portfolio of SAP clients, with accountability for delivery, quality, and client satisfaction, reporting into Director level.

Support the financial management of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to pre-sales efforts and bid development.

Develop strategic solutions for complex finance and system transformation challenges.

Lead large project teams, manage engagement risks, and ensure high-quality outputs through regular reviews and hands-on guidance.

Drive innovation by influencing clients' adoption of automation tools, including intelligent RPA (iRPA).

Shape and deliver SAP programmes that exceed expectations, balancing quality, value, and impact.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Extensive consulting experience in SAP ECC FICO and SAP S/4HANA Finance, with strong expertise in at least two to three key functional areas.

Proven experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementations, including at least one full S/4HANA-enabled Finance Transformation programme.

Familiarity with CO-PA, FSCM, Fixed Assets, or Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) is highly desirable.

Experience leading solution teams of 3-8 consultants, with a focus on delivery excellence and team development.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships at senior levels.

Previous experience in a consulting environment is essential.

Experience with pre-sales, bids, or business development activities is advantageous.

An accounting qualification or background would be beneficial, though not mandatory.
