SAP Field Service Management (FSM) Consultant

Masentó SAP are looking for an experienced SAP FSM Consultant to step into a critical role stabilising and optimising a complex Field Service Management environment. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical delivery, supporting live operations while driving long-term system improvements.

Location: Germany - hybrid

The Role:
You will act as the primary point of contact for FSM-related incidents, reducing a significant backlog and implementing structured operational processes in the absence of a dedicated support team. A key focus will be identifying and permanently resolving recurring connector breakdowns, improving system performance, and strengthening overall platform stability.

Beyond troubleshooting, you will play a pivotal role in performance tuning, integration management, and cross-system process alignment-particularly within utility environments aligned to European data standards. You will also mentor junior consultants through hands-on training and pair programming, ensuring sustainable knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in SAP FSM operations and support
• Strong expertise in connector troubleshooting, Middleware, and integration patterns (including SOA)
• Solid understanding of performance optimisation within SAP FSM
• Experience working with utility data models aligned to European standards
• Ability to deliver AS-IS/TO-BE models, lead CRPs, and conduct product fit-gap analysis
• Demonstrated experience leading development teams and working closely with client SMEs
• Confident communicator, able to operate independently in high-pressure environments
