SAP DATA MIGRATION LEAD - CURACAO - 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a SAP Data migration lead for one of our utility clients in Curacao!

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Migration Lead with in depth knowledge of the utilities industry solution to join our internal SAP Center of Excellence team or take on the assignment as a senior external consultant.

This role is pivotal in defining, implementing, and leading our Data Migration Strategy and supporting the early data cleansing initiative. You will be the key liaison between our internal teams and the implementation partner's data migration specialists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define the overall Data Migration Strategy for our transition to SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead and coordinate the internal Data Migration team across departments.
• Work closely with the implementation partner's data workstream to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Drive the Data Cleansing Pre-Project Initiative, setting realistic goals and KPIs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in business and IT to assess Legacy data quality and readiness.
• Define and oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) procedures.
• Ensure data migration activities stay on schedule and meet project quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data migration and cleansing.
• Provide expert-level guidance on SAP IS-U data models, integration points, and master data objects.
• Support cutover planning from a data readiness perspective.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP IS-U, with deep expertise in data objects (Business Partner, Contract Accounts, Installation, Metering, Billing, etc.).
• Proven track record in leading data migration workstreams in at least 2 successful SAP S/4HANA or ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of data migration tools (SAP Migration Cockpit, LSMW, ETL tools) and data validation techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages (eg, Python, SQL) and experience with data modelling techniques.
• Experience with data cleansing and quality management strategies.
• Familiarity with SAP CRM integration and Legacy system structures is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (eg, AWS, ITIL, PMP)
• Ability to work in complex and evolving environments, with multiple stakeholders and aggressive timelines.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, adaptability, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
