SAP Data Migration Consultant

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Migration Consultant with expertise in SAP data migration and data cleansing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong experience in SAP ERP Data migration & Transition specializing in the SAP MM or SAP SD module.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Running workshops with business and IT stakeholders to get exact requirements clear.
• Data Analysis and Profiling: Analysing data from legacy systems to understand its structure, format, and quality.
• Data Mapping: Developing scripts and processes to map data from legacy systems to corresponding fields in SAP.
• Data Cleansing and Transformation: Identifying and resolving data quality issues, including inconsistencies, missing values, and data type mismatches.
• Data Validation: Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by performing various checks and validations.
• Migration Planning and Execution: Developing and executing data migration plans, including managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Tool Expertise: Utilizing SAP data migration tools like LSMW or LTMC and potentially third-party ETL tools.
• Collaboration: Working closely with functional consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure a smooth and successful migration.
• Documentation: Documenting data migration processes, including data mapping rules, validation criteria, and migration procedures.
• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Identifying and resolving data migration issues, ensuring a successful cutover.
• Stakeholder Communication: Providing regular updates to stakeholders on the status of the migration project.
• Data Governance: Ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in data migration and data cleansing.
• ETL skills: data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience with data analysis, data mapping, data cleansing, creating queries.
• Data migration Oracle to SAP and SAP/ECC to SAP/S44HANA.
• Experience with the use of LSMW.
• Background in SAP, but exact background is flexible: need to understand SAP data structures.
• SAP Knowledge on SAP MM/SD.
