SAP BRIM Consultant (SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) - Remote - 7 months+

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SAP BRIM Consultant.

In this service there will be a changing occupation over the timeline. 20%-40%-50%-20%-
This type of project has ramp-up and down of activities by phase. So there is not continuous staffing needed normally. We will have test phases, downtimes, where it is no always foreseen to do activities.

I few find someone who has experience in doing SAP Upgrade projects they will understand the need.

That is also the reason why the occupation is only a limited time by week in the job request, but at the end there will be a specific project plan in place which we can't maintain in details in the request.

Dutch is a big plus.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Senior BRIM Consultant to support a client assignment with a clearly defined scope and timeline. The engagement is part of an upgrade project from SAP S/4HANA 2021 to SAP S/4HANA 2025. The consultant will assess potential functional improvements within the BRIM domain and help ensure that the solution remains stable, correct, and fit for purpose after the upgrade.

Job Description/Main responsibilities

• Deliver the agreed BRIM activities within the predefined project scope, milestones, and timeline for the SAP S/4HANA 2021-to-2025 upgrade
• Assess the existing SAP BRIM solution and identify potential functional improvements, simplification opportunities, and increased use of SAP standard functionality available in the target release
• Analyse upgrade impacts across the relevant BRIM components, end-to-end business processes, interfaces, integrations, custom developments, and configuration
• Review relevant release changes and assess their functional impact, risks, dependencies, and required remediation actions
• Define and document functional recommendations, required configuration adjustments, functional specifications, and test scenarios
• Plan, prepare, and execute functional, integration, and regression testing for the BRIM scope after the upgrade
• Validate the correct end-to-end functioning of billing, charging, invoicing, mediation, subscription, and contract accounting processes in the upgraded system
• Analyse test defects and functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate corrections with technical and functional teams, and retest resolved items
• Work closely with business process owners, architects, developers, integration teams, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and timely delivery
• Provide clear status reporting on progress, findings, risks, dependencies, decisions, and actions within the assigned scope
• Support knowledge transfer and handover by documenting the assessment results, implemented changes, test evidence, and outstanding recommendations
• Represent the client as a senior BRIM Subject Matter Expert and provide pragmatic, client-focused guidance throughout the upgrade

Product expertise

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive, relevant experience with SAP. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management).
• Experience in a similar SAP BRIM Consultant position
• Experience on at least 1 full end-to-end BRIM Implementation
• Demonstrated profound experience within BRIM. Provide technical and functional expertise to optimise billing, invoicing, and revenue management processes
• Knowledge and experience of SAP BRIM modules, including Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Mediation (CM), Subscription Order Management (SOM) and Contract Accounting (FI-CA/PSCD)
• A BRIM certification is a plus
• Able to analyse and solve issues in standard customization or specific SAP programs (ABAP)
• Able to understand clients' expectations, anticipate needs and proactively propose innovative solutions in SAP
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, collaboration tools and ability to prepare project plans is a nice to have
