Job Description

We are looking for an SAP Billing Engineer to join a client in the Energy & Utilities industry. This role will focus on SAP ISU Billing, supporting ongoing development, technical guidance, and solution design initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional expertise with a proactive approach to problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and driving improvements across the billing domain.

Requirements:

* Strong SAP IS-U Billing functional expertise.

* Experience with Meter Data Technology (MDT) and related billing processes.

* Knowledge of new technical capabilities and features within SAP S/4HANA.

* Ability and willingness to learn and adopt new functionalities beyond core billing.

* Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and contribute to solution design decisions.

* Experience breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions and driving delivery.

* Ability to influence technical direction and decision-making across projects and domains.

* Strong communication and leadership skills, including mentoring, documentation, and technical guidance.

Contract details:

* Start Date: 1st of September 2026

* Duration: 12 months+

* Location: Onsite in Den Bosch, NL (Monday & Wednesday)

* Contract Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor

* Hours per Week: 40
