Job Title: SAP BASIS Architect / Platform Lead
Location: Amersfoort, Netherlands (Hybrid - 1 week/month onsite)
Type: B2B Contract
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Note: Candidate must already be based in the Netherlands or be willing to relocate at their own cost.
Opportunity Overview:
We're looking for a SAP BASIS Architect / Platform Lead to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Brownfield transformation project. This role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with one week per month onsite in Amersfoort, Netherlands.
You'll take ownership of the SAP platform, driving technical architecture and ensuring system performance in collaboration with stakeholders and SAP RISE partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Platform Lead on a major SAP S/4HANA Brownfield project
- Oversee SAP BASIS operations, system upgrades, and migrations
- Design scalable, high-volume SAP S/4 solutions (cloud & hybrid)
- Collaborate with SAP RISE stakeholders and internal teams
- Ensure best practices in platform performance, security, and compliance
- Support GRC and authorization alignment where needed
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience, especially with S/4HANA transformations
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Brownfield migrations
- Strong understanding of SAP RISE architecture
- Experience working in high-volume, enterprise-scale SAP environments
- Familiarity with SAP GRC / Authorisation is a plus
- Must be able to work on-site 1 full week per month in the Netherlands
