SAP ABAP Developer (Remote)

Client Introduction:
A global organisation is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support its S/4HANA transformation program. You will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality custom solutions within a modern SAP landscape.

Role Introduction:
As SAP ABAP Developer, you will work closely with functional teams and architects to build, enhance, and optimise custom developments for an S/4HANA environment, ensuring performance, stability, and alignment with best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs for S/4HANA (including CDS Views, OData Services, AMDP, RAP if required)
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Support integrations, data migration objects, and interface development
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and modern S/4HANA practices
• Participate in testing cycles, defect resolution, and go-live activities
• Provide documentation and support for delivered solutions

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA ABAP, including CDS Views and OData
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points
• Experience with Fiori/UI5-related Back End development is a plus
• Good knowledge of SAP best practices, clean core principles, and extensibility options
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong English communication skills
