Job Description

1. Manage and enhance the sanctions control framework.
2. Conduct investigations relating to potential sanction violations.
3. Provide advice to stakeholders on sanctions compliance matters.
4. Generate reports and assessments for senior management.
5. Ensure the business is compliant with international and domestic sanction laws.
6. Conduct training and awareness sessions on sanctions risks and compliance.
7. Participate in the development of risk management strategies.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the risk and compliance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Sanctions Controls & Investigations AVP' should have:

1. An educational background in Law, Business, Finance or related field.
2. Investigations experience within Banking ideally.
3. Experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
4. Knowledge of international sanctions laws and regulations.
5. Excellent communication and report writing skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently.

1. An attractive salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
