Job Description

We are in search of a service-led, dynamic sales manager to assist the Head of Travel Design in steering the expansion of the Travel Design team through the company's next stage of growth and beyond.

This role is dedicated solely to sales performance and reports directly to the Head of Travel Design. The ideal candidate will have a track record of creating and nurturing a safe and inclusive environment, developing team members' skills, and enabling them to perform at their best.

Who you are:

  • An experienced team leader or manager (essential)
  • Extensive experience in a travel sales or luxury sales environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator
  • Experienced in working to targets and monitoring performance through CRM
  • Analytical mindset for numbers, booking trends, and sales metrics
  • Loves detail while considering the bigger picture
  • Dynamic and adaptable to change without losing focus
  • Self-aware with a growth mindset
  • Active listener with empathy and self-awareness
  • Experience in client-facing, service-oriented roles
  • Service-driven with a focus on positive impact
  • Positive and approachable, inviting feedback and input from others
  • Tour Operator experience is preferred

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and nurture a safe and inclusive environment where team members feel listened to, challenged, and supported to perform at their best
  • Empower team members through facilitation and coaching, allowing them to thrive individually
  • Analyze data, sales metrics, and team performance to maximize enquiry conversion and increase performance end-to-end
  • Collaborate with the Head of Region to increase conversion rates, speed to market, and revenue
  • Support team members through challenges, and identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Serve as the point of escalation for service or emergency issues
  • Facilitate sales training and call coaching for your team and the wider business as needed
  • Conduct weekly 1-2-1s and coaching sessions, providing feedback and growth opportunities
  • Assist the sales team throughout the sales process to secure bookings effectively

Interview Process:

  • Virtual interview with the Head of Sales and Head of Africa Travel Design
  • Role-play task

Office Hours:

Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm in Shoreditch (typically 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH)

Start Date: June 2nd, 2025

Salary: £47,500 + £12,500 - £15,000 OTE
