We are looking for a Sales Team Leader to manage our small but perfectly formed sales team to success.
The successful candidate will have a proven experience within a similar sales role, a genuine enthusiasm for coaching and developing their team, and outstanding communication skills.
This is a full time opportunity based in Great Suffolk Street, London and offers hybrid working (minimum of 3 days in the office required per week).

The Role:
As aSales Team Leader, your primary focus is onmaximising revenue,driving high performance, anddeveloping a motivated, results-oriented team. You will play a key role in shaping and executing sales strategies, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the team is equipped and empowered to succeed.
You will be responsible for removing barriers to sales, providing insights to the wider business based on customer feedback, and ensuring a seamless sales process. A strong focus onconversion rates,pipeline management, andperformance coachingwill be essential to achieving and exceeding business targets.
As a people manager at Jules Verne, you are expected to lead by example, inspiring your team to achieve their best through creativity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. Mentor and coach your team, identifying skills gaps and supporting their development. Foster collaboration within your team and across departments, communicating openly and respectfully. Plan effectively, utilising resources efficiently to achieve excellent results, and maintain a psychologically safe environment that encourages learning and growth. Build positive relationships within your team and the organisation, ensuring a cohesive and fun team atmosphere. Monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and high performance and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide day-to-day leadership, support and motivation to ensure a high performing, engaged team.
- Revenue Maximisation: Drive the team to maximize revenue and achieve business targets.
- Team Performance: Monitor and enhance team performance through regular coaching, mentoring, and feedback.
- Individual Growth: Focus on the growth and development of individual team members to ensure continuous improvement.
- Blocker Removal: Identify and remove any blockers to sales, ensuring a smooth sales process.
- Customer Feedback: Feed back to the wider business on any issues or insights from customers to improve products and services.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align efforts and maximise opportunities.
- KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and drive team success.
- Conversions: Focus on improving conversion rates through effective sales strategies and techniques.
General Duties
- Demonstrate a commitment to the core company values and mission in all actions and decisions.
- Act as a brand ambassador, positively representing the group both internally and externally.

- Proven experience in a sales leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to monitor, interpret, and act on KPI's to drive team success.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
- Knowledge of travel industry practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
