Location: Role can be based at European HID locations - SI sites preferred (the Netherlands and Italy) Job ID: 43226 The Sales Manager EMEA will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence across European territories. This role focuses on securing new business opportunities within verticals that utilize secure issuance printers. The position is an individual contributor role and requires an initiative-taking approach in building relationships, identifying new business channels, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure business success. As our Sales Manager EMEA, you'll support HID's success by: 
- Managing, coordinating, and optimizing all sales and service activities within your assigned region
- Tracking leads, converting them to prospects, and identifying key regional/global partners to close deals
- Planning and executing visits to accounts and clients to maintain close relationships
- Identifying and acquiring new projects, generating and following cold leads to expand sales activities and brand awareness
- Analyzing market trends, business propositions, and translating customer wishes and technical developments into new products and services
- Participating and advising in tender processes, budgeting, and setting up the sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Responding to market opportunities and promoting both existing and new machine portfolio developments
- Networking by visiting trade fairs and conferences, expanding contacts, and maintaining strategic relationships
- Developing a vision and drawing up a sales plan, drafting and following up proposals and quotations
- Conducting contract negotiations, including prices, specifications, delivery, and payment terms
- Providing company and product presentations to potential customers, independently leading projects and tenders
- Communicating with customers and prospects primarily in English, and internally with engineering, operations, service, sales, and finance teams
- Managing agent networks, issuing quotations, and determining sales strategies
- Achieving revenue objectives, profitability, and providing transparent business reporting and forecasts
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in sales or business development
- Several years of sales experience and confidence in speaking to all level of customers
- Effective and timely follow-up to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community member
- Fluent written and spoken English is required; other languages are a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally and possess (or acquire) a valid passport
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and international standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC), Oracle, and Oracle Analytics is a plus
