Sales Manager

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Sales Manager for a well-established Freight Forwarder. The role is based in the Sunbury-on-Thames area.

Duties:-

• Full responsibility for overseeing and managing the Sales operation
• Working closely with the MD on all Sales matters
• Responsible for growing the department (including recruitment)
• Managing Sales executives (Internal and External)
• Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits
• Building up suspects and converting them to prospects
• Profiling customers
• Demonstrating and presenting products
• Assist with generating new business
• Managing and growing existing clients
• Maintaining accurate sales records
• Attending trade exhibitions, conferences & meetings
• Reviewing sales performance
• Negotiating contracts with customers and closing the contract
• Working towards monthly or annual targets.

Requirements:-

- Freight sales experience

- Ability to sell all products including Air, Ocean and Roadfreight
