Your Mission


The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and leading a dedicated sales team within the global RigPro organization. This role requires extensive knowledge of the yachting industry and strong leadership skills to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.


Main Responsibilities


  • Develop a Sales Team: Build and manage a high-performing sales team dedicated to the global RigPro organization, leveraging the expertise and relationships of the existing team of project managers and technicians to accelerate growth and enhance customer engagement.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies in alignment with senior management directives to drive revenue growth.
  • Sales Targets and Budgets: In collaboration with the business management team, set and monitor sales targets and budgets across the business to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales performance, improving sales visibility globally, and improving resource planning.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively across all departments to leverage team relationships and maximize sales opportunities
  • Quotations and Estimates: Complete accurate quotations and estimates for clients, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Costing Process Development: Collaborate with the team to refine the costing process, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
  • Quotation Process Analysis: Analyze and enhance the current quotation process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and develop Sales Relationships within the wider Business Group: Effectively work and increase RigPro's relationship within the wider NTG organization to maximise cross-sales opportunities.
  • Service and Product Offerings: Work collaboratively with all departments to expand service and product offerings, focusing on cross-selling opportunities.


What we need from you


Technical skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in a sales management position, preferably within the yachting industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the yachting industry and its market dynamics.


Personal skills

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills to inspire and guide the sales team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with business objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Willingness to travel: Frequent travel will be required to represent RigPro at shows, regattas, and with clients.
