Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales and demonstrate exceptional analytical skills. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with clients, and utilising Salesforce to manage your sales pipeline effectively. Proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset that will enhance communication with our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Sales Execution
o Proactively identify, develop, and close sales opportunities
o Deliver against agreed sales targets: £650k Year 1 and £1.5m Year 2.
o Convert leads into opportunities through structured follow-up and account management
- Relationship Management
o Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers, consultants, and channel partners.
o Act as the dedicated point of contact for all customer sales within the client
- Lead Development
o Work closely with client marketing to progress campaigns (email, LinkedIn, SEO, events).
o Generate and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities in CRM.
- Collaboration
o Partner with the customers' engineering and service teams to ensure seamless delivery from sale to installation and aftercare.
o Coordinate with the customers on product knowledge, playbooks, and case studies.
- Reporting & Compliance
o Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline status in CRM.
o Provide regular reporting to client and customer management teams.
o Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 in all sales activities.
Experience
- B2B sales experience (3-5 years), ideally within backup power, but experience from IT, power solutions, electrical, or related technical sectors will also be considered.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while leveraging CPS's infrastructure.
- Competent with CRM systems and data-driven sales reporting.
- Technical awareness of power protection, UPS systems, or IT infrastructure (preferred but not essential)
