Monday to Saturday - 8.45am - 6.00pm and every Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm. However, the role will be a 5-day week on a rota basis.

Salary is dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our client based in Cirencester.

• You must have excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and deliver outstanding customer experiences
• You must be self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment
• You will need to have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively

Main Duties

• Greet customers and guide them through the car buying process.
• Understand customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles.
• Provide detailed information about features, specifications, pricing, and financing options.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for new and used vehicles.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through proactive follow-ups and networking.
• Stay updated on the latest car models, features, and industry trends
• Demonstrate vehicles during test drives and provide comprehensive product demonstrations.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business or referrals.
• Work closely with colleagues in the dealership, including finance, service, and management teams, to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with paperwork, including sales agreements, financing applications, and registration.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

Who you are:

• Have 3 years experience in retail sales
• Proven high customer service levels with a charismatic persona and good emotional intelligence
• Demonstrate active listening skills being able to understand customers wants, needs and requirements
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Be able to analyse situations and identify potential hazards with solutions
