Job Description
A global creative software company is hiring a Director of Direct and Channel Sales to lead commercial operations across the EMEA region. This is a high-impact leadership position, responsible for managing and scaling both direct sales efforts and partner networks across key verticals including visual effects, motion design, gaming, AR/VR, and digital design.
The business is known for its industry-standard creative tools, trusted by artists, studios, and agencies worldwide. The role is based near Frankfurt (hybrid setup) and involves regional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the regional sales strategy for both direct accounts and channel partners
- Lead and grow a high-performing EMEA sales team
- Expand business opportunities by identifying strategic partnerships and new routes to market
- Build and maintain senior relationships with key accounts, resellers, and distributors
- Align with marketing, product, and finance to support pipeline growth and customer success
- Drive recruitment, enablement, and performance management of the channel ecosystem
- Analyse pipeline health, sales metrics, and market trends to provide insight to executive leadership
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong track record in the software or creative tech space
- Proven success leading both direct sales teams and partner/channel strategies across EMEA
- Strong understanding of creative or visual software markets is a plus
- Fluent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing at senior level
- Able to work both strategically and operationally, with a passion for growth and execution
- Master's degree in business or a related field preferred
- Willing to travel frequently across the EMEA region
