The RoleThe Role:
This role is suited to a highly motivated individual who is confident in both sales and managing a sales team. The successful candidate should be dynamic and ambitious, with a background in working with or for large FMCG brands and familiarity with printed packaging.
Reporting to the Managing Director and serving as a board member, you will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement the sales strategy
- As a minimum, achieve the sales budget
- Present monthly performance of the sales team at the board meeting
- Support the sales team where applicable
- Work closely with the business to meet company objectives
- Travel to meet customers (including European travel)
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and drive, with a willingness to lead from the front
- Be a team player who is positive, friendly, approachable, flexible and hard working
- Show qualities of being proactive, entrepreneurial and innovative
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Adept at building strong, long-term relationships
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Preferred previous experience in print packaging
- Ideally possess knowledge of FMCG and Brands and familiarity with the client's product portfolio
- PC literate - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Full driving licence
