Role Overview: The Sales Associate Director, Government sector is responsible for driving sales of healthcare-focused SaaS solutions to public sector organizations, including national health services, local authorities, and government-funded healthcare institutions. This role requires deep understanding of public procurement processes, healthcare regulations, and the unique challenges faced by government entities in delivering digital health services. The role can be located in any of our major European offices such as: Alphen aan den Rijn in The Netherlands, Madrid in Spain, Milan in Italy, London in UK, Mechelen in Belgium and Berlin in Germany . Key Responsibilities: Public Sector Sales Strategy : Develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting government healthcare agencies and institutions. Procurement Navigation : Manage complex public procurement cycles, including responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders. Stakeholder Engagement : Build trusted relationships with government officials, policy makers, and healthcare administrators. Solution Selling : Position SaaS offerings as solutions to public health challenges such as patient data management, care coordination, compliance, and digital transformation. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with legal, compliance, product, sales account managers and implementation teams to ensure solutions meet government standards and regulations. Market Intelligence : Stay informed on healthcare policy changes, funding initiatives, and digital health trends affecting the public sector. Contract Management : Lead negotiations for multi-year contracts, framework agreements, and renewals. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in selling SaaS solutions to government or public sector clients, ideally in healthcare. Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and public procurement. Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to public sector audiences. Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder landscapes. Familiarity with frameworks like G-Cloud, NHS Digital, or EU procurement standards .
