The time is now for significant market expansion. Beakwise Europe BV (Den Haag) is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this is a foundational role where you will take a leadership position in building our commercial presence, focusing on both strategic marketing initiatives and direct sales execution across Europe and other assigned international regions. While this role is primarily remote, occasional office work (up to 2 times a week for key meetings) at our Den Haag location may be required. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will play a key role in executing sales and marketing strategies, driving lead generation, and supporting our commercial growth across Europe and other assigned international regions. This position involves extensive travel, both within and outside Europe, including to Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, for client meetings, industry events, and team collaboration.


Your Mission: Fueling Commercial Growth:


  • Execute Sales & Marketing Strategies: Actively participate in implementing regional and international sales and marketing plans.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Drive lead generation activities (visits, digital marketing, events, outreach) and qualify prospects for the sales pipeline. Often, this will involve visits to potential clients and current clients at their offices.
  • Sales Engagement & Support: Support complex B2B enterprise sales cycles, prepare sales materials, conduct product demonstrations, and assist in proposal development.
  • Marketing Campaign Management: Help plan, execute, and monitor regional and international marketing campaigns, including digital initiatives, content creation, and PR.
  • Industry Engagement & Events: Follow international industry events, manage Beakwise's participation (booth, speaking slots), and represent the company.
  • Partner Coordination: Assist in coordinating with industry analyst firms and partner entities like Gartner and Celent to ensure effective communication and positioning.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Gather market intelligence and contribute insights to refine sales and marketing approaches.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and global teams.


The Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • Experience: At least 3 years of combined experience in B2B sales and marketing roles, preferably within the technology or software sector and in some other form of emerging startup setting.
  • Location: Must be based in the Netherlands.
  • B2B Sales Acumen: Experience in B2B sales processes, lead qualification, and supporting enterprise sales cycles.
  • Marketing Skills: Practical experience in digital marketing, content creation, campaign execution, or event management.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to undertake extensive international travel is essential.
  • Tech Savvy: A genuine interest in and understanding of software solutions and technology trends.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proactive & Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to manage multiple tasks and drive for results.
  • Team Player: Enjoys collaborating within a dynamic, international team environment.
  • Fintech/Insurtech Experience (Big Asset): Prior experience in or selling/marketing to the financial services, banking, or insurance (insurtech) sectors is a significant advantage.
  • Additional European Language (Plus): Professional working proficiency in another major European language (e.g., German, French) is a plus.
